Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Kudzu collects through this website and through the Kudzu INVEST Act Q&A text program, why, who sees it, and how long we keep it.

Who we are

Kudzu (Kudzu Technology Incorporated) runs this website and the text program described on the text program page. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Kudzu. You can reach us at admin@kudzutech.com.

Mobile information and the text program

Mobile information and opt-in data are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. This applies to your phone number and to your consent to receive texts.

What we collect

When you use the text program:

  • Your mobile phone number, which your carrier passes to us when you text us.
  • The content of the messages you send us and the replies we send you.
  • A consent record: that you opted in, the wording version you saw, the date and time, and how you opted in (for example, by texting the keyword). Opt-outs are recorded the same way.
  • Delivery status for each message we send, as reported by the messaging platform and carriers.

When you use the demo request form on this website:

  • Your name, email address, organization and message. The form also has optional fields for your role and phone number, which we keep only if you fill them in.

This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics scripts or tracking pixels.

How we use it

  • To send you the replies you ask for through the text program, and to confirm, record and honor your opt-in and opt-out choices.
  • To keep the service working, secure and free of abuse, and to fix problems.
  • To answer a demo request from you. We use what you send in the form to reply to you and for nothing else.

We do not use text program information to send you marketing or promotions.

Artificial intelligence

Replies in the text program are written by an AI model. When the model is on, the text of your message is sent to an AI model provider so that it can generate the reply. Do not text sensitive personal information such as account numbers or a Social Security number.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf to provide the service:

  • the messaging platform that sends and receives texts for us;
  • phone carriers that deliver the texts;
  • the AI model provider that generates replies;
  • hosting providers that run our systems.

We do not share mobile information or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Your choices and rights

  • Opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. We confirm once and then send nothing more. Reply START to rejoin.
  • To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, email admin@kudzutech.com from the address you used or tell us the phone number involved. We may need to confirm that the request is yours.
  • When we delete your information we still keep your opt-out record, the consent records we are required to keep, and the one-way hash used to make sure we never text you again.

Security

We protect information with encrypted connections and access limited to the people and systems that need it. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

Children

This website and the text program are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change affects how we use mobile information, we will tell text program users before it applies to them.
